Memorial day weekend. But they are working on it now so who knows. The water doesn't warm up for about a month or so cause they put fresh water in it every year.

I have been living there two years, and I really do appreciate the low rent, and well kept property. Nothing is perfect, but I can tell you that this is really a great place for the money and a beautiful staff that is very helpful.

It’s late and i just got home from a long day at work and also a very long drive. However I want to just say thank you to Mrs Reed and Kim, and to the entire Riverlands staff for making sure that our community is welcoming and extremely taken care of at all times from grounds to maintenance to customer service. I vowed to never move back to east end Newport News but life sometimes have u go back in full circle and sometimes God has a blessing for u there. However I am glad that I lived here and I am big on writing reviews so I have to share my experiences. Riverlands is by FAR THE BEST COMMUNITY IN EAST END NEWPORT NEWS. It’s a hidden gem and an oasis. Extremely quiet and beautiful.

I can't say enough positive things about this apartment community. And yes, it's definitely a community. The staff is always courteous and willing to go an extra mile to help and everyone knows their neighbor. But the best thing about our community is the safety. I'm a single mother with a teenager. I have never been afraid to leave her alone. This community is so safe that no one comes in or out our building without you letting them in. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. Clean well lit parking and clean lobbies. I was so impressed with the quality of this community that I referred my son here for his first apartment also. This has to be the best ran apartment community in Newport News. The greatest property manager (Ms Kim) and Leasing manager ( Ms Reed) and all the supporting office staff that I have ever encountered, are always polite courteous and attentive to your needs as a tenant. This will certainly be my home for years to come..
